Vikings Tied for 10th After Two Rounds

GREENSBORO, NC - The Vikings Men's Golf Team sits tied for 10th at the Gate City Invitational after their first two rounds today.

With rainy conditions a few players only made it through 16-17 holes before they called it a day.

Jay Sanders leads the pack for the Vikings as he is in 26th overall individually with round scores of 73 and 70.

Charles Kyle shot a remarkable 71 in round two to match Sanders and shot a 73 in the first 18.

Noah Farland and Kevin Verrill are tied at 44th after shooting a 73 and 70 in round one and following with a 72 and 74

Cam Baker is the final Viking with scores of 74 and 75.

As a team they collectively shot 29 birdies on the day and all players shot under 80.

Berry will finalize the Gate City Invitational tomorrow with round three.
