ROCHESTER, NY - The Berry Vikings took on the Flower City Preview with rounds one and two today to sit in 6
th out of 18 teams.
Round two was an extreme highlight on the day, with three Vikings shooting under par. Most notably,
Cam Baker shot five under (67) and sits in 6
th place overall and
Noah Farland shot four under (68) and sits in 14th place.
In round two, Baker shot 9 birdies while Farland shot 6.
Kevin Verrill was close behind his teammates with a remarkable 70 (-2) in round two.
Charles Kyle and JK Walter wrap up the lineup for the Vikings with a 78 (+6) and a 73 (+1) in their second set of 18.
Berry took round one by storm early this morning in New York as well, with all players being at the 80 or under mark.
Baker was the only player under par at 69, but it was Farland who had the teams only eagle on his way to par (72).
Verrill, Kyle, and Walters all played a big part in a 6
th place finish after day one with more low scores of 73, 75, and 80, respectively.
The Vikings will finalize the Flower City Preview with round three teeing off at 7:30 AM tomorrow morning.
