CLEVELAND, Tenn. - Berry Track and Field returned to Lee University this weekend for the Lee Invitational and have completed day one of competition.
Men's Highlights:
Jahari Jones finished fourth overall in the 200m with a time of 21.69
Six Vikings had PRs in the 1500m with
Ethan Smith leading the way in a third-place finish
Bradshaw Lathbury showed out in the 5000m on his way to fourth place and a new PR of 14:32.55
Sophomore
Dawson Livingston and senior
Mason Robinson took second and third, respectively in the Hammer Throw
Freshman
Clayton Robinson finished in the top 10 in the high jump
Alden McDonald set a new Lee Invite Record during the pole vault on his way to second place
Rampey, Livingston, and Robinson took seventh through ninth in the shot put
Women's Highlights:
Sophomore
Josie Loggins took tenth in the 400m Hurdles
Anna Rose shined in the 1500m with a fourth-place finish and a time of 4:45.33, a PR
The hammer throw featured three Vikings in the top 10 - Winston, Phillips, Henderson
Emily Thompson and
Madi Duke took eighth and tenth in the high jump
Cailin DeLeo led in the Javelin with a second-place finish at 35.38m
Hubbert, Pine, and Easley had top 15 finishes in the Pole Vault
