Men's Track and Field

Two Vikings Compete at NCAA Championships

McDonald Reaches All-American Status

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Berry Indoor Track and Field took two to the Indoor NCAA Championships to represent the Vikings where they held strong and had great performances.

Junior Alden McDonald earned All-American status in the pole vault, with a jump of 4.98m he placed 8th and broke his own indoor school record and his PR. He is now the second Men's Track and Field All-American and the first indoor All-American for the Vikings.

Jahari Jones competed in the 400m today and finished with a time of 49.06 in heat one. He was boxed in during the final 100-meter stretch and unable to fight around. Unfortunately, his time does not move him to finals tomorrow, but he still had an amazing indoor season.

These two superstars wrap up an historic indoor season with the Vikings and look to do the same during the recently started outdoor season.
