CONWAY, Ark. - The Vikings stay undefeated in the conference with their win over the Warriors of Hendrix on the road 11-8.
Addison Irwin has stayed in the goal on the Vikings winning streak, adding another one to the win column with 13 saves today.
An opening goal from the Warriors did just enough to channel energy for the visiting Vikings as they popped off on a five-goal run to close out the first period up 5-1, with five different players putting the ball past the Hendrix goalie.
Hendrix was steady in their opening goals, scoring the first one of each period. Before the half, the Warriors were able to outscore Berry in the second at 4-3, but the Vikings still led by three at halftime (8-5).
The second half started as a comeback for the Warriors with two goals to bring the game within reach at a one goal game. However, leading scorer for the Vikings
Ethan Perlakowski fired back with the final goal of the third and his fourth goal for the game in the fourth to push his team on top.
Berry will be back in action at Valhalla this weekend on Saturday as they continue SAA play and look to take their conference record to 4-0 against Sewanee at 2:00 PM ET.
