MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Starting the season off 4-0, the Vikings fell to the University of the Redlands in tonight's game 16-14.
It was the first period that stunned the Vikings. The Bulldogs came out hot offensively, excited as this was their first game of the season.

Adrienna Van Soelen could find the first one for Berry to close the first down by five (6-1).
Things began to trend in the Vikings directions with the first two goals of the second by Annakate Estock and the first of four goals for
Katie Claire Smith, leading her team on the day.
The Bulldogs found four second quarter goals despite a slow start to hold the 10-4 lead over Berry at the half.
Coach
Brittni Hall rallied the troops to start the third and finish the second half defeating the Bulldogs 8-4, but the first half doomed the Vikings and their comeback was too late to overcome the Redlands.
Four Berry players scored more than one goal and
Dani Taraska had a team high five ground balls.
The Vikings will be back in action at Centre College on Saturday at 11:00 AM ET.Â
