FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. - The Vikings hit the road to compete at Emmanuel University to face off against the University of Montevallo, Converse, and Emmanuel in three separate duals.
Overall, the Men had a strong showing at Emmanuel. Against the host team they fell 187-75 and against Division II Montevallo the Vikings rallied, but fell short at 141-121. Their biggest and closest contest was against Converse with a final score of 136-126. However, the team had some standout performances, listed below.
Men's Highlights:

Nick Fonzo, the reigning SAA Newcomer of the year is no shy to spotlight, he claimed the fastest time in the conference at this meet in two categories: the 50 back (in his split in the medley) with a time of 23.81 and in the 200 yard backstroke with an amazing time of 1:57.41. The now sophomore continued to gain points for his team with more big performances in the 200 yard free (1:46.64, the second fastest time in the SAA) and in the 300 yard fly (1:58.88, the third fastest time in SAA)

Sam Tate continued to shine with his performance in the 200 IM (second fastest in SAA, 2:00.89)

Evan Pelletier and Tate split 21.34 in the 50 free split with Sam taking on the free relay and Evan on the medley, the two took the fastest time in the conference

Ethan Whiting had the heaviest lineup of events on the team, his 1000 time is 4
th in the SAA, 200 back is 5th and 200 IM is 5th

-The quad consisting of Fonzo, Tate,
Crawford Hightower, and Pelletier defeated Converse and Montevallo in the 200 Yard Medley Relay (1:35.88)
- Fonzo took first and Pelletier took second over Converse in the 200 Yard Freestyle
- Fonzo took down Converse during the 200 Butterfly with a time of 1:58.88
- Pelletier placed first over Converse in the 50 Freestyle
- Fonzo defeated Converse and Montevallo in the 200 backstroke
- In the 200 Breaststroke Tate took first over Montevallo
- Tate defeated Converse and Montevallo during the 200 yard IM race
- Berry took the 200-yard freestyle relay with
Billy Blood, Mac Schefunas, John Cook, and
Sam Tate over Montevallo
The Women took on three opponents in separate duals as well, facing off with host Emmanuel (179-83), against Montevallo (148-113), and in the dual with Converse (159-101).
Women's Highlights:

Ashley Young was the star at Emmanuel for the Vikings as she claimed the new fastest time in the conference in the breaststroke split in the 200 medley (31.20) and in the 200 breaststroke (2:29.95). Young was a strong competitor in the 200 IM with the second fastest time in the SAA at 2:14.47.

Molly Heath now holds the 7
th place in conference with her 100 breast time

Lily Groves did well in the 1000 and now has the 4
th fastest time in SAA (11:12.47) and 5th fastest time in the 500 free.

Emily Martin defeated Converse and Montevallo in the 1000 yard freestyle with times of 11:12.47 and 11:23.45, respectively with Groves placing first and Martin second.

- Sarahbeth Brown claimed her first place against Converse in the 100 Yard Butterfly
- Young claimed yet another victory over Montevallo and Converse during the 200 yard IM
