On Tuesday, the Berry Vikings Women's Soccer team suffered a 2-0 loss to the Maryville College Scots.
The Vikings came out strong in the first half, but the Scots drew blood in 18 minutes of regulation. The Vikings saw the game slip away as the Scots slipped in an insurance goal with less than 10 minutes to go. The Vikings came out in the second half with a tenacious defense and shut down the Scot's scoring. The game played back and forth, with both teams holding each other scoreless as the final minutes ticked off the clock.
The Vikings will travel to Bristol (Tenn) for a neutral site contest versus Washington and Lee University on Saturday at 1 p.m.
