Rome, Ga. - Berry's women's tennis team fell to NCAA D-II foe Christian Brothers University 6-3 Saturday afternoon at the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College.
The Vikings opened with
Lauren Masteller and
Juliana Mascagni taking a doubles match victory (8-5). They continued with another doubles matchup win with
Lacey Craig and
Sakura Manning earning the victory (8-5).
Olivia Walton and Angelle Thorton would end up falling to CBU in their doubles match 8-5.
The Vikings got their first singles victory in line two when
Juliana Mascagni defeated Chealsea Dzenga of CBU in a close first set of 7-5 and then a sweep in her second set, 6-0. That would be the last of the three points Berry would earn as a team.
