BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The men and women's indoor track team kicked off their season before heading to the winter break with a showcase at the BSC Indoor Icebreaker today.
With over 30 colleges represented including D3 foes Rhodes, Trinity(TX), Oglethorpe and Belhaven, the meet also included D1 schools Memphis, Tulane, Samford, UAB, and Troy.
Head Coach
Luke Syverson on the day:
"I was pleased with the effort today from group that was able to compete. Even though it was a small sample size of our team, they were able to put together a few solid PR's and two new school records. There were a few areas where I think we had reason to believe that the times and marks would have been a little stronger but it is just December and the meet was a late addition to our schedule. I look forward to getting back from Christmas break and having the whole team together"
