Box Score LAGRANGE, Ga. - The Vikings fell in day one of the SAA/CCS Crossover tournament to host LaGrange,81-66.
88% from the foul line was not enough for the Vikings to overcome the Panthers in today's contest.
Berry led after the first quarter 21-19 with great efforts from the duo
Kenadie Lee and
Elly Callihan who combined for 17 of the 21 points.
A scoring drought took over the second quarter with only 7 Viking points compared to the Panthers 18. LaGrange captured the lead before halftime with a score of 37-28.Â
Lee and Callihan struck back after halftime with another 17 points to try and get back in the game but the Panthers scoring consistency went unmatched.
In the forth, LaGrange continued to pull away little by little until 88% would not be good enough to overwhelm the Panthers. The Panthers 48% from the field deemed them victorious.
Berry Women's Basketball takes on Piedmont University at LaGrange College tomorrow at 1:00 PM ET.
