The No. 7-seeded Berry Vikings men's tennis team lost 6-0 to No. -seeded Oglethorpe University on Friday in the opening round of the Southern Athletic Association conference tennis championship tournament at the Adams Tennis Complex in Murfeesboro, Tenn.
Noah Koch and
Carsten Balao played in the closest match of the day in line two of the doubles competition. The duo kept the match interesting and ended the day with a score of 8-4.
To end their season, the Vikings finished 4-13 in the regular season and a 1-6 record in conference play. Looking into next season, the Vikings have the advantage of not losing any seniors to graduation. This will give the Vikings an experienced team heading into the offseason.
