The Berry Vikings men's tennis team fell to their Southern Athletic Association foe and No. 33-ranked Sewanee Tigers, on April 23 by score of 9-0 at the Rome Tennis Center.
In the Vikings' best match, freshman
Noah Koch played his line one opponent into the tie-breaker set. Koch took the first set with a score of 6-4, but lost in the second set by score of 1-6. Koch ultimately lost the line in the tie-breaker.
Koch, along with sophomore
Carsten Balao, also took part in the best doubles set of the day. Playing in line two, the two Vikings lost by score of 8-4.
The Vikings will be back on April 24 for their last regular season and conference matchup of the year against Centre College. The first match is set to begin at 9:00 a.m. at the Rome Tennis Center.
