Berry's women's tennis team faced a setback against the D-I foe Central Arkansas at the Rome Tennis Center, as the Vikings fell 9-0 to opponents from the ASUN Conference.

All three of Central Arkansas' doubles teams posted wins against Berry, with senior Allison Ivey and sophomore Juliana Mascagni leading off the match at No. 1 doubles. Ivey and Mascagni kept things interesting with their play, ending the match by a score of 8-4.

In the No. 1 singles match, Ivey was in a close fight with Central Arkansas' Yada Vasupongchai. Ivey won the first set by a score of 6-3, but fell in the second set with a score of 3-6. Ivey lost in the tie-breaker set by a score of 10-7, losing the overall match to Vasupongchai.

The team competed hard in the rest of the singles matches, with each of the athletes improving their play in their second sets.

The women's tennis team will be back at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Ga. on March 24, with the first match set to begin at 3:30 p.m.
