Box Score      The Berry Women's basketball team fell to Oglethorpe University 63-55 in the Southern Athletic Association semifinal in Memphis on Saturday night. 
     The Oglethorpe offense proved to be too much for Berry despite a long fight from the young team. 
The fiery Stormy Petrels (10-17) offense opened with an eight point run. Raven Washington finally broke the drought for Berry four minutes in, but Oglethorpe continued to dominate on offense, closing out the first quarter with an 11-point lead. 
            Delaney Noe gave the Vikings hope with a three pointer, changing the tone for the Berry offense. Kennedy Moore snipped the Petrels' lead to four points with a jumper, but Oglethorpe answered with a three pointer, diminishing hopes of the late second quarter comeback as Berry was sent to the locker room down 29-22. 
     The Berry defense continued to lack answers for the Petrels in the third quarter, who held them at a 12-point arms length for most of the quarter. 
Noe hit her second three of the evening, putting Berry within six points at , but just like every other time, Oglethorpe consistently hit their shots when they mattered. The majority of the fourth quarter Berry struggled to break its 10-point deficit, despite their late success with three pointers, netting six in the second half. 
     The Vikings attempted everything they could to pull off the upset, however they were unsuccessful. 
     Kish Chandler led the team in points with 13, Noe followed with 11. The team tacked on 38 rebounds, with a team-best six coming from Moore. 
     Berry concludes its season with a 17-9 record.
