Danville, Ky. – The Berry College women's soccer team topped off an incredible season with a runner-up finish in the SAA after a 3-0 loss to the Centre Colonels in the championship on Sunday.
The Vikings entered the tournament as the No. 3 seed and faced Birmingham-Southern on Friday, winning in thrilling fashion. After nothing went for either team in regulation or double overtime, the game was decided in penalty kicks, which the Vikings won 5-4.
On Sunday, Berry faced off against the No. 1 seed Centre Colonels and fell 3-0 to claim second place overall in the conference.
