The warm confines of Naples, Fla., appear to be to the liking of the Berry men's basketball team when the Vikings rolled to a 79-46 win Sunday over Marywood in their opener of the Naples Shootout on Sunday.
The victory improves the Vikings to 7-1 overall heading into their final game of the Shootout on Monday when Berry faces Albright in an 11 a.m. tip.
Against Marywood, Berry took command of the game early, breaking out to a 43-23 halftime lead and never looked back.
Balance was the order of the day offensively for the Vikings as 15 players broke into the scoring column with
Owen Honroth leading the way with a team-high 11 points while pulling down eight rebounds.

Austin Brooks and
Jake Craft each finished with eight points each as Berry's bench outscored Marywood 38-18 and had a 46-32 rebounding edge.
