ROME, Ga. — Micah Johnson led Berry to a 68-54 win over Millsaps on Sunday afternoon, scoring a team-leading 21 points.

With the win, Berry climbs to 13-5 overall and 4-3 in conference play. Millsaps slips to 11-7 overall and 3-4 in league competition. 

Johnson added seven rebounds and three steals in the outing. Caleb Haynes added 16 points while Dawson Wehunt hit four three-pointers, contributing 12. 

Both teams had a forgettable opening half, with each squad shooting under 35% from the field. Berry connected on just 25.8% of their shots in the opening period, but led by one at the break. The team hit on 46.9% of their shots in the second half to secure the win. 

Berry travels to Birmingham-Southern on Jan. 24 for a 9:00 p.m. ET tip.
