Box Score ATLANTA — The Berry College women's basketball team fell to the Emory University Eagles 60-41 on Monday night, falling to 6-6 overall.
Emory used a 22-4 run in the third quarter to improve to 8-2 on the year. Eveline Parsons led the way, scoring 12 points for Berry. Jana Morning followed with 10.
The Eagles held Berry to a 25.9% shooting percentage and a 20.0% clip from beyond the arc. Berry also struggled down low, surrendering 30 points in the paint and were out-rebounded by 19.
The Vikings close the out-of-conference slate at an even .500 record and are set to open league play on Friday at 6:00 p.m. against Rhodes College at home.
