Box Score ROME, Ga. — The Berry College women's basketball team cruised to a 74-47 victory over Toccoa Falls on Tuesday night, improving to 4-3 on the year.
Sydney Blankenship led the way with a career-high 14 points off the bench. Madeline Sandman, Eveline Parsons and Madison Wilder each scored 12 in the win. As a team, the Vikings shot 33.8% from the field and 66.7% at the free throw line. Berry hauled in 63 total rebounds, the fifth most in Berry's NCAA DIII era for a single game.
The team led by just two points after the opening quarter, but outscored the Screaming Eagles 24-9 in the second to hold a 41-24 advantage at the break. Berry turned the ball over just twice in the fourth to secure the win.
Berry returns to action on Saturday with their first Southern Athletic Association (SAA) matchup of the year at Oglethorpe University at 5:00 p.m.
