Women's Lacrosse Falls to Rhodes 24-1

ROME, Ga. – Shadae Williams scored the lone Viking goal in the win, as the Berry College women's lacrosse team fell to SAA-powerhouse Rhodes College 24-1 on Saturday.

Seven different Lynx had multi-goal games, as Rhodes led the contest 12-1 at halftime. Williams' lone Berry goal came from Shadae Williams with just over 10 minutes to play in the first half, with four other Vikings adding one shot apiece in the outing. Ella Makin took the loss in goal for Berry, collecting 11 saves in her 38:24 minutes of work, while allowing 14 goals.

On the day, Rhodes led the contest in shots (55-5), draw controls (22-4) and clears (9-8), while the Vikings led the game in saves (18-1). The loss was the first of the year for Berry, dropping the Vikings to 2-1 overall and 1-1 in conference play.  Rhodes remains perfect on the year, improving to 2-0 and 2-0.
