ROME, Ga. — The Berry College women's soccer team picked up a Senior Day victory on Sunday with a 2-0 win over Hendrix College. Berry is now 7-4-3 on the year and 3-1-2 in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA).

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Both teams combined for 19 shots in the opening half, but neither was able to score.
• The Vikings had a chance late off a corner kick, but a pair of shots were saved with under a minute to play in the period. 
• The Vikings picked things up in the second half with a goal in the 75th minute by Samantha Schoppy. It was assisted by Blair Painter.
• In the 79th minute, Kirbi Mathews scores off a ricochet, finalizing the score 2-0.
