REDLANDS, Calif. – The Vikings women's lacrosse team was defeated by Redlands on Monday night with an 11-5 final.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Vikings fell behind in the first half 7-3 after goals from Claire Voltarel (Kelsey McAnnally), Ashley Merritt (Keiley Ayers) and Kelsey McAnnally.
• Berry was also outscored in the second period 4-2 with Redlands securing the 11-5 victory. McAnnally and Ayers tallied in the second half.
• The Bulldogs outshot the Vikings in the first half 15-6, but Vikings turned it around in the second half and outshot the Bulldogs 9-8.
• Redlands also totaled more draw controls than Berry, 23-15.
