Box Score BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Berry College women's basketball team was knocked out of the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) tournament by the Hendrix Warriors on Friday night with a 66-43 final.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Berry posted 16 points in the second quarter, but were unable to overcome a 16-9 deficit after the opening period, entering the locker room trailing 30-25.
- The Vikings were then outscored 36-18 in the second half.
- Centre turned the ball over 13 times, but Berry was unable to capitalize scoring nine off turnovers.
- Berry also shot 27.1 percent to the Warriors 38.2 percent.
- Alex Weems was the only Vikings in double-figures, scoring 10 in the outing.
