GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Berry College women's lacrosse team scored four goals in each half, as the Vikings held off Guilford College 8-7 on Saturday morning.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Vikings scored four goals in the first half to Guilford's two, while Guilford outscored Berry 5-4 in the final 30 minutes.
- Berry also led the game in nearly every offensive category, including shots (24-15), shots on goal (16-14) and ground balls (22-17).
- The Vikings also forced 26 turnovers to their 17.
