MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Eveline Parsons led the Vikings with 14 points, but the Berry College women's basketball team fell to Piedmont College 82-62 on Sunday afternoon.
Parsons headed up the Berry offense in the outing, assisted by Nia Smith's and Alex Weems' double-digit performances. Defensively, McKenzie Smith finished with a team-high nine rebounds for the Vikings. Berry led the contest in rebounds (31-29) and blocks (3-1), while the Lions shot 50.9 percent to the Vikings' 39.2 percent.
The Vikings shot well from the charity stripe for the second straight night, hitting 15-19 free throws.
