MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – Both Nia Smith and Alex Weems added a double-double on the night, but the Berry College women's basketball team fell to Sewanee 67-58 at home on Friday.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Berry led early in the fourth quarter, but was unable to hold on down the stretch as Sewanee made seven free throws in the final two minutes.
- The Vikings led the game in rebounds (44-35) and assists (10-7), while the Tigers led the game in steals (14-9) and blocks (3-1).
- Sewanee shot 43.3-percent (26-of-60) to Berry's 34.5-percent (19-of-55).
- The game saw seven lead changes.
