BC Women's Lacrosse Wins at Piedmont, 10-8

DEMOREST, Ga. -- Savannah Robar scored three goals and passed one assist as the Berry College women's lacrosse team defeated Piedmont College, 10-8, on Friday.

The win improved the Vikings to 7-4 overall. The Lions fell to 8-5.

Kelsey McAnnally and Keiley Ayers each tallied twice in the win. McAnnally added one assist as well.

Three other BC players scored goals in the win: Clara Bissel, Lizzy Jones and Angelica Miller.

BC was behind, 6-3, at the half. Piedmont tallied to open up the second half and move to, 7-3. 

The Vikes then scored five consecutive goals to tie the game at seven. Berry outscored Piedmont 3-1 in the final 15 minutes to take the win.

For the Lions, Maggie McDaniel and Mckynsey Douglas led the offense with two goals and one assist each.

Ella Makin (7-4) earned the complete-game win in goal. Makin collected 10 saves.

Berry travels to Birmingham, Alabama on Saturday, April 2 to take on BSC in their next SAA match-up. Game time is set for 2 p.m.
