Box Score DANVILLE, Ky. -- The Berry College women's lacrosse team used a big second half en route to defeating Albion, 10-7, on Saturday. The Vikings outscored the Britons 6-2 in the final 30 minutes.
Berry, which won its third straight game, moved to 3-1 on the year. Albion fell to 0-3.
Ashley Kesselring scored three goals and dished two assists for the Vikes. Kelsey McAnnally tallied twice and recorded three helpers, and Lizzy Jones added three goals for BC.
Albion led--or the game was tied--the entire first half. The Britons held a 5-4 lead at the break.
The Vikings, however, netted the second half's first three scores and never trailed again.
Goalkeeper Ella Makin recorded 10 saves and moved to 3-1 for the season.
BC led in shots (33-23) but trailed in draw controls (11-8).
Shannon Kahl potted three goals and earned one assist for Albion.
Berry plays at Centre College on Sunday at 11 a.m.
