ROME, Ga. -- Imani Smith tallied a team-high 11 points, but the Berry College women's basketball team lost at Millsaps College, 58-46, on Sunday afternoon.

Berry dropped to 8-15 and 2-10 in the Southern Athletic Association. Millsaps moved to 15-8, 9-3.

Smith came off the bench to shoot 3-of-9, made two 3-point baskets and had five rebounds. Alex Weems, also a non-starter, added nine points for the Vikings. Berry led in bench points, 31-26.

The Majors held a 28-20 lead at halftime. BC outscored Millsaps, 14-10, in the third quarter.

For the game, MC shot 34-percent (16-of-47) to Berry's 29-percent (15-for-52). The Vikings committed 18 turnovers and forced 14 miscues. MC held a slight edge in rebounding, 38-36.

Keyerra Jordan had 14 points for the Majors. Teammate Kim Klunk added 10 points and 14 rebounds.

The Vikings play at Centre College on Friday, Feb. 19.
