Box Score MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - The Vikings football team closed out their home schedule with a 38-12 win over the Birmingham-Southern College Panthers on Saturday.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Vikings racked up 431 yards of total offense and held the Panthers to just 287 offensive yards.
- Senior Trey Ciresi opened the scoring in the first quarter, hauling in a 9-yard reception from Slade Dale.
- Running backs Austin Lowe and Jacob Collins each added a rushing score before a pair of receiving touchdowns by senior wideouts Chris Lilly and Methus Weldon in the second.
- Berry put up 31 points in the second quarter alone, heading into halftime leading 38-0.
- The Vikings would not score in the second half, but BSC added a receiving TD by Daniel Lopera before Samir Usman punched in a 5-yard score late in the game.
