ATLANTA, Ga. -- Kelsey McAnnally and Claire Rosenberg both scored 3 goals and passed 3 assists in Berry College's 15-7 win at Oglethorpe University on Wednesday night.
The win was the third straight for the Vikings, improving them to 3-1 overall and 2-1 in the Southern Athletic Association. The loss dropped the Stormy Petrels to 1-2 and 0-2.
Five BC players scored 2 goals in the win: Ashley Kesselring, Clara Bissell, Kim Fischer, and Angelica Miller. Savannah Robar added a goal for the Vikes as well.
Berry held a 10-4 lead at halftime.
For Oglethorpe, Michelle Vasques scored 4 goals on the night. She also scooped up 3 ground balls and won 5 draw controls.
The Vikings led the Stormy Petrels in shots (24-19), ground balls (13-12), and draw controls (13-12).
Tori Alexander and Casey Born split at goalkeeper for the Vikes. Alexander collected 3 saves, and Born collected 1. For OC, Chantel Jones saved 4 shots on the night at goalkeeper.
BC hosts Transylvania in their next game on Saturday, March 7 at 12 p.m.
