Box Score CONWAY, Ark. – Hendrix University had five players score in double figures in a 96-71 win over Berry College on Sunday.
The Warriors improved to 7-7 and 1-2 in the Southern Athletic Association. The Vikings—which lost its ninth straight contest--dropped to 3-10 and 0-3.
Owen Jacobs notched his 10th double after scoring a team-high 16 points and pulling down 12 rebounds. He was 3-4 from the field and converted 10-12 free throws. Teammate Mac Whalen added 10 points for the visitors.
Colton Primm tallied a game-best 19 points on 8-10 shooting for the Warriors. Alex Conrad contributed 18 points and grabbed a game-high 13 boards for HC.
The Warriors led 41-26 at halftime. Hendrix shot 56-percent (31-55) to BC's 34-percent (21-62) in the contest. HC won the battle of the boards, 45-34.
Berry travels to play at Oglethorpe on Saturday.
