CONWAY, Ark. --Freshman Maggie Midkiff scored two goals as Berry College won at Hendrix College, 4-2, on Friday evening.

The Vikings improved to 8-3 and 1-1 in Southern Athletic Association play. The Warriors dropped to 5-4-2 and 0-1-1.

Midkiff tallied in the tenth minute for the match's first goal. Hendrix, however, got the equalizer on a penatly kick less than one minute later. Molly Johnson then scored in the 34th minute for the visitors and the score remained 2-1 at the break.

In the second half, Midkiff found the net in the 61st minute. Tessa Piety made the score 4-1 after she headed-in a corner kick at 69.59.

Samantha Lallas netted the game's last goal 37 seconds later.

Berry had the advantage in shots (25-4). Melissa Sanchez made one save and earned the win for BC.

The Vikings play at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn. on Sunday at 3 p.m.
