ROME, Ga. - Berry's Jenny Miller and Kristen Brooks scored three goals apiece, but the University of the Redlands defeated the Vikings 17-7 in a women's lacrosse game at Berry's Ford Field Wednesday.

Brooks scored the game's first goal just over two minutes into the contest, and after Redlands answered with a score 30 seconds later, the Vikings' Brittany Coughlan gave Berry a 2-1 lead just 15 seconds after the Bulldogs first goal.

But the Bulldogs would score three straight goals over the next 3:15 and never looked back.

Redlands outshot Berry 32-20 and held an 18-14 ground ball advantage.  

Sisters Kristan and Anya Dziurzynski each dished out an assist for the Vikings (0-3). 

KK McCaslin led the Bulldogs with four goals, while Megan Prickett and Crystal Painter each scored three times.

Berry is scheduled to return to action against Guilford College in Greensboro, N.C., on March 5.
