ORLANDO, Fla. — Berry College's Director of Sports Information and Promotions, Blake Childers, earned a pair of national and district honors in the 2018-19 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Publication & Design Contest.
Winners were announced at the CoSIDA Convention at the Orlando Marriot World Center in Orlando, Florida. There are over 50 categories across the board in the annual contest, with every program at every level having the opportunity to receive recognition for their work.
At the national level, Childers' Berry football schedule poster claimed "Third in the Nation" while his women's soccer poster earned "Sixth in the Nation." The football poster also claimed "First in the District."
The honors came in the contest's College Division, which is comprised of Division II, Division III, NAIA and NJCAAA institutions. Overall 34 different departments were acknowledged nationally with at least one such honor.
