Volleyball Continues to Roll With 3-0 Win Over Hendrix

ROME, Ga. — The Berry College Volleball team cruised to a 3-0 victory over Hendrix College at home, improving to 16-2 overall and 11-0 in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA).

Berry has now won 24-straight matches in the Cage Center and 28-straight regular-season matches against SAA opponents. 

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • The Vikings claimed set one 25-19. After tying the match 7-7, Berry went on a run to extend their lead to 15-11 and never trailed again. 
  • Berry dominated set two, 25-15. BC hit .276 and held Hendrix to a -.056 hitting percentage. 
  • The Warriors put up a greater fight in the final set, but Berry was able to earn a 25-22 win. 
  • As a team, Berry earned 14 total blocks.
