Volleyball Bests Centre in Straight Sets on Sunday

ROME, Ga. — The Berry College volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 win over Centre on Sunday afternoon, improving to 14-2 overall and 10-0 in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA).

Set scores were 25-7, 25-18 and 25-18.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • Berry dominated the opening set, hitting .444. Centre hit just -.111 in set one. 
  • Both attacks evened out in sets two and three. The Vikings hit .194 and .302 in the final two sets, claiming both 25-18.
  • Emily Hancock continues to lead Berry offensively, hitting .375 with 12 kills in the outing.
