Berry Volleyball Jumps to No. 24 in AVCA Poll

LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Berry College volleyball team jumped one spot to No. 24 in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Top 25, the organization announced on Tuesday. 

The Vikings currently sit at 4-2 on the year, going 2-1 last weekend at the Emory National Tournament. Berry defeated Whitworth and Tufts in straight sets before falling to Emory, now ranked No. 6, 3-0. 

Berry currently leads the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) in blocks per set (2.24). The Vikings will open SAA competition tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. at home against Oglethorpe University.
