Volleyball Wins 15th Straight, Tops Scots 3-1

LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. — The Berry College volleyball team improved to 18-2 on the season with a 3-1 victory over out-of-conference Covenant College on Tuesday night. 

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • Berry dominated the opening set, winning 25-7. The Vikings jumped out to a 6-0 advantage and never trailed. 
  • Covenant regained momentum in set two, taking it 25-17. The Scots held a 10-5 lead before Berry went on a slight run. CC was able to secure the set with a four-point run late. 
  • The Vikings claimed the final two sets 25-18 and 25-16. 
  • Emily Hancock led the way offensively with 18 kills on a .371 hitting percentage. 
  • Carson VanCampen had 15 kills, hitting .458 with six blocks.
