Volleyball Holds on for Five Set Victory at Hendrix

CONWAY, Ark. - Emily Hancock and Christina Goforth each earned 14 kills apiece, as the Berry College volleyball team held off Hendrix College 3-2 in a Southern Athletic Association (SAA) matchup on Friday night. 

Set scores were 18-25, 25-18, 25-23, 20-25 and 15-13, as the Vikings held of the Warriors to remain undefeated in conference play (9-0) and extend their win streak to 10 matches. In the outing, Hendrix led in kills (66-50), assists (64-47) and digs (115-100), but Berry continued their national-leading pace to lead the match 11 blocks to eight.
