Berry Women's Tennis Improves to 5-3, Bests Agnes Scott 8-1

ROME, Ga. – Dropping just one match all day, the Berry College tennis team defeated Agnes Scott College 8-1 at home on Sunday afternoon.

All three doubles teams opened up the day with victories, as Sara Myers and Kathryn Borker defeated Anastasia Bennett and Lizzy Engsberg 8-5 in the No. 1 doubles spot. Sydney Stone and Sarah Murray (8-4) and Emmie Cornell and Karleigh Dills (8-2) added wins in the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles spots as well.

Sara Myers (6-0, 6-2), Kathryn Barker (6-0, 6-2), Sydney Stone (6-0, 6-1), Karleigh Dills (6-1, 6-0) and Allie Williams (6-2, 6-1) each added singles victories in the outing as well, as Berry improved to 5-3 overall on the year.
