Women's Soccer Battles to Scoreless Draw Against Transy

MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – Although the Vikings finished regulation and overtime play with a combined 26 shots to Transylvania’s eight, neither team found a way to score in the 110 minute contest, as the Berry College women’s soccer team earned a scoreless draw against Transylvania University 0-0 on Sunday.

In the matchup, the Vikings outshot Transylvania 26-8, adding 11 shots on goal. Jackie McGivney earned the tie in goal for Berry, playing all 110 minutes in goal, while collecting three saves. Transylvania’s Haley Blackburn earned the complete-game tie as well, collecting 10 saves on the day.
