MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - The Berry women's lacrosse team was dominant in their home-opener, defeating the visiting Warriors of Hendrix College 17-5.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • The Vikings jumped out to a 10-2 lead in the opening half, capitalizing on 16 Hendrix turnovers in the first period.
  • Berry then tallied seven in the second half, securing the win.
  • Draw controls were primarily controlled by the Vikings, who led the Warriors 18-5.
  • The Vikings also had 34 ground balls in the contest, controlling the midfield for the majority of the contest.
