Women's lacrosse falls at Lynchburg

LYNCHBURG, Va. -- Lynchburg College defeated Berry College, 18-3, on Saturday afternoon.

BC returns from its Spring Break trip with a 4-2 record. The Hornets improved to 2-2.

Claire Rosenberg led the Viking offense with one goal and one assist. Taylor Martin had nine saves in the cage for the visitors.

Kristan Dziurzynski tied the game at 1-1 early in the first half. LC then tallied nine of the next 10 scores and held a 10-2 lead at halftime. Lizzy Jones added a second half goal for Berry.

Eight different Hornets scored in the contest. Katie Siedel had four scores and one helper to lead Lynchburg. LC led in draw controls, 17-6.

Berry plays at Oglethorpe on Thursday.
