Women's Basketball Drops Road Contest to Hendrix 79-63

CONWAY, Ark. - Three Vikings scored double-digits, but the Berry College women’s basketball team fell to Hendrix College 79-63 in an SAA matchup on Sunday afternoon.
Parsons scored 17 points to lead the Vikings’ offense, while McKenzie Smith grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Berry’s defense. In the outing, the Vikings’ shot 33.9-percent (19-for-56) to the Warriors’ 45.9-percent (28-for-61). Hendrix also led the game in rebounds (45-33) and assists (22-3), while Berry forced 18 turnovers to their 17.

• With the loss, Berry falls to 5-8 on the year, as well as 0-3 in the SAA.
• Hendrix improves to 10-4 and 2-1.
The Vikings will host Centre College in Friday, Jan. 12 at 6:00 p.m.
