Men's Soccer Closes Regular Season With 3-1 Loss to Emory

ROME, Ga. — The Berry College men's soccer team fell to the Emory University Eagles on Sunday afternoon 3-1 to close the regular season 9-4-2 overall.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • Emory's Aidan Datene scored in the 22nd minute off an assist from Moustafa Khattab to give the Eagles a 1-0 lead. 
  • Mason Hemstreet scored the equalizer in the 41st minute off an assist from Henry Arato.
  • The game was tied 1-1 at the half. 
  • Emory's Michael Stier scored in the 66th minute to go ahead 2-1.
  • Khattab then tallied in the 69th minute to secure the 3-1 win for Emory.
