Men's Lacrosse Falls to Sewanee

SEWANEE, Tenn. - - Jake Emche scored two goals and passed two assists, but the Berry College men's lacrosse team fell to Sewanee, 13-6, on Saturday afternoon.

The loss dropped the Vikings to 5-7 overall and 2-2 in the Southern Athletic Association. The win improved the Tigers to 7-3 and 4-0.

Emche led the BC offense, scoring in both the first and third quarters. 

Four other Vikes tallied in the loss: Bailey MartinQuentin JohnsonChristian Akers and McKinley Gannon. Johnson also passed two assists for Berry.

Sewanee was ahead, 6-3, at the half.

Hayden Hunt led the Tigers with four goals in the victory.

Nick Voso (4-7) took the loss in goal for BC. Voso collected 13 saves on the day.

The Tigers led the Vikings in shots (53-32), face offs (14-8) and clears (18-15).

BC will host Millsaps College in their next match on Friday, April 8 at 7 p.m.
