Offense shines in men's lacrosse's 15-6 win at Huntingdon

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Berry College had a season-high for goals in its 15-6 win at Huntingdon on Saturday.

Playing its third road game in 6 days, Berry improved to 4-3 and halted a 3-match winless streak. HC dropped to 2-7.

Cory Hall paced the Vikings with 4 goals and 1 assist. Jake Emche added 3 scores and assisted once. Paolo Falzi, Miller Hollstein and defender Jack Chase tallied twice for the Vikes.

The Vikings had its biggest lead, 10-2, at halftime. 

Freshman Duncan Tilka made the start in goal for Berry. He improved to 3-1 and stopped 3 shots in the first half. Nick Voso played the last 30 minutes, allowed 4 goals and made 4 saves. 

BC had the edge in shots, 49-32. The Hawks led in ground balls (32-29) and faceoffs (13-11).

Brandon Sewell tallied 3 times for Huntingdon.

Berry plays at Centre College on March 21.
