Men's Golf Finish Regular Season with Fourth Place Spot at Emory Invite

STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. – The Berry College men's golf team dropped four strokes to finish tied for fourth at the Discover Dekalb Emory Invite on Tuesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • Ryan Elmore (141 – 69, 72) led the Vikings, finishing tied for sixth overall.
  • Eddy Black shot a 142 (73, 69) to finish tied for eighth.
  • Joel Maire shot a 74 to finish at 147, tied for 27th.
  • Cole Ackerman (150 – 77, 73) and Press Clark (162 – 82, 80) rounded out scoring for the Vikings, finishing tied for 35th and 75th, respectively.

NOTABLES:

  • Huntingdon College took home both the individual and team titles, shooting a 567 (289, 278).
  • The Hawks' Addison Lambeth also finished first at 134 (70, 64).
  • Berry shot a two-day 580 (292, 288).

UP NEXT:

The Vikings will travel to Maumelle Country Club to compete in the SAA Conference Championships, beginning Friday, April 21.
